Learn the basics of healthy, environmentally friendly homes. Christopher J. Hall, CEO of GreenLife Homes, will discuss various products and systems found in green homes and will also explain the third-party certification programs (LEED for Homes, Green Built Michigan, and EPA Energy Star) commonly used by Green builders. You'll have a chance to ask questions and meet a number of Green Building experts. This course is free but registration is required and is open to the public and REALTORS®.

REALTORS® bring you clients to this class and help them to learn about green homes. GreenLife Homes will offer a Buyers Agent Commission through their selling agent, ERA Network Realty.

With so many people saying how bad the market is why would anyone be excited to start a new partnership with a builder? Well that depends on how you see the market. If all you have to offer is the same thing as everyone else I would say it would be a tough time to brand your name into the market. On the other hand if you had a better product to offer that it is growing by leaps and bounds. Like a independent third party LEED certified Green Built Home. I would say that you should be able to brand your company as the leader of the pack. Please let me say I am excited, that I have such a great opportunity to work with a builder just like that GREENLIFE HOMES LLC. Unlike other builders that offer a Green Built Home as an option. GREENLIFE HOMES LLC. specializes in building independent third party LEED certified Green Built Homes. So I wanted to understand what the difference of a Green Built Home and a home just built to code. With help from Chris Hall and Josh Rupp (GREENLIFE HOMES LLC) I have learned a lot (and they are still teaching me more). I still wanted more knowledge so I have taken about 9 hours of Green Built training and will be taking a total of 16 hours more  Nov 13 & 14 2007. As I learn more about Green Built Homes, I am just blown away by the concept of it, how far advanced it is from I knew of it.
